FIELD: measurement engineering. SUBSTANCE: distilled water is used as a stuff, a neutral gas - as a medium. The water is brought to boiling, mixture of the stuff vapor and the gass is pumped off in front of zone of its evaporation until quasistatic state and pressure of vapor is determined by temperature of heating. Apparatus has a capacity with a pressure indicator; a heater; a system of the gas pumping in and off; a capillary with a capacitor and two porous glass filters, that form a cavity between each other , that is through controlled valve connected to the systems of the gas pumping in and off; a mechanism for vapor condensation with a thermometer in it; a heating balloon, partially filled with heat transport medium. The system of the gas pumping in and off is connected through a valve with the capacity and with the heating balloon, which has an ampule with the stuff. The capillary is connected with the capacity and the ampule and the heater is located under the heating balloon.
