FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: driven unit for film feeding has the form of a lever which axis of rotation overlies the vacuum frame serving for applying the film to the pattern plate. The unit has a rack member for clamping the film. The member is provided with clip mounted on the facility for positioning the film roll. The clip can be double-slotted holder capable of vertical displacement. The film is applied to the pattern plate by turning the lever which unwinds the film from the roll. After vacuum sticking to the frame the film is cut off by the knife positioned close to the clip. EFFECT: increased versatility, smaller necessary floor space, simplified construction.
