FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: sleeve-like film is passed inside a fixed frame-sucking disk and through the top opening of box-like movable feeder with vacuum sucking disks. The sleeve-like film is applied on the fixed frame using pressure of compressed air which is supplied through valves of the model. The cut-off ends of the film wether are secured at the top part of the movable box-like feeder or welded simultaneously with cutting-off. The sleeve-like film is convenient for high (1-2 m of height) box-like castings. EFFECT: simplified method. 2 dwg
