FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method of preparing of microsphere from aqueous suspension of heat and power plant light ash involves hydroseparation of light ash under pressure excess 1.5 atm, not less, dehydration by drying and isolation of microsphere fraction of size ≅ 0.3 mm mm. Properties of microsphere prepared: heat conductivity coefficient is 0.085 and 0.3 B/m x K at 25 and 1000 C, respectively. EFFECT: enhanced quality of microspheres. 2 tbl
