SUBSTANCE: this process for manufacture of man-made porous filler prescribes roasting burden residue from kilns and graphitization furnaces designed for manufacture of electrodes in oxidizing medium until content of free carbon constitutes 5 mass percent, maximum, grinding stock to fineness of 0.07 mm, maximum, and then introducing it into charge in amount of 0.3 to 2.0 mass percent. Porous filler bulk density: 250 to 290 kg/cu. m. Porous filler compressive strength: 0.85 to 1.5 MPa. EFFECT: excellent qualities. 2 tbl
