FIELD: protection of artistic articles. SUBSTANCE: composition has, %: uralkyd resin modified with N,N-substituted aliphatic amine with mol. mass 2500-3300 and urethan groups content 8.5- 10.5%, urea groups 0.5-1.5% 45-55; siccative 1.2-2.5; cyclohexanone oxime 0.4-0.6, and organic solvent - the rest. Composition is prepared by stirring of uralkyd resin, cyclohexanone oxime, siccative and organic solvent for 0.5-1 h up to preparing of homogeneous liquid. Composition is applied on the wood or metallic backings and dried at 80 C and 20 C for 1 h and 6 h, respectively. Properties: luster is 83-93%, after irradiation for 3 h at 50 C is 79-90%.
