COMPOSITION FOR COVERING ARTICLES WITH KHOKHLOMA PAINTINGS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: protection of articles with khokhloma paintings. SUBSTANCE: composition contains uralkyde resin modified by N,N- substituted aliphatic amine (its molecular weight being 2800-3000, content of urethane monomeric units being 9.3-9.8%, content of urea monomeric units being 0.5-0.8%) 48-52%, siccative 1.2-2.5%, oxime of cyclohexanone 0.4-0.6%, organic solvent the rest. Mentioned above components are mixed all together to produce homogeneous solution. Thus prepared composition is applied on article and dried, drying time at 20 C and 80 C is 6 h and 1 h respectively. Desired composition has: resistance to static attack of water at 20 C and 85 C 30-36 h and 2 h respectively; its resistance to attack of 1% acetic acid solution at 20± 2^°C is 2-3 h.
