FIELD: cleaning of surface water. SUBSTANCE: main working member of oil trap is flat disk unit attached to rotating drum whose submersible part is wetted with floating oil products. Film of trapped oil products is later removed by special appliance from disk non-submersible surface into accumulating pocket and comes through branch pipe in pocket lower part to pumping out pump. Drum is rotated by drive through shaft. Thinnest and non-continuous oil film and separate large particles are trapped due to arrangement of fixed plates between rising halves of submerged part of movable disks, baffle directing upper layer to treatment zone, and due to supply of solvent or heat carrier to zone of removal of oil film from disks that preserves serviceability of trap in handling high viscous oil products at natural temperature of water reservoirs.
