FIELD: environment protection; skimming. SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains oil skimmer with housing in form of carrying frame in which rotating drums can be installed. Main rotating drum of oil skimmer is rigidly connected with movable disk unit. Additional rotating drums are installed higher than main drum. To clean movable disk surfaces, special devices in form of endless belts forming conveyors for collected impurities are used. Width of belt of each conveyor corresponds to distance between adjacent movable disks. Scrapers for cleaning conveyor belts are mounted on carrying frame. Impurities scraped off the belts are thrown into collector. EFFECT: possibility of removing liquid floating impurities from water surface without using solvents and heat carriers. 10 cl, 8 dwg
