FIELD: well drilling. SUBSTANCE: deflecting tool has guide bar with bit and supporting and centering member, articulated coupling connecting downhole motor shaft and guide bar, and flexible decentralizer installed on stator of downhole motor above articulated coupling. Deflecting tool has movable centralizer on its upper part and centralizer motion limiter with means for its locking from turning in one of circular directions, and located in the section adjacent to upper end of decentralizer is centralizer locking unit in its lower position. Flexible plates of centralizer have rigidity exceeding that of decentralizer flexible plates that ensures disengagement of decentralizer in lower position of centralizer. Position of movable centralizer is monitored by signals sent to surface by transducers installed between locking unit and centralizer displacement limiter. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
