FIELD: drilling equipment. SUBSTANCE: articulated deflecting tool has guiding rod 1 with drill bit 2 and restoring centering mount, decentering mount including shaft 6 and frame 7 with flexible supporting straps 8 mounted for reciprocal motion, face motor coupled with rotor system 9 to guiding rod 1 with the aid of articulated coupling 11 and with stator system 10 periodically interacting with frame 7 by means of locating arm made in the form of rest connected to stator system 10 or frame 7 and groove in frame 7 or in stator system 10. In the presence of interaction of frame 7 with stator system 10 of face motor orientation of action of deflecting tool is performed and in the absence of specified interaction - directed drilling of hole takes place. In the latter case action of reactive moment of face motor on frame 7 is avoided. EFFECT: articulated deflecting tool is especially effective while drilling inclined holes. 2 cl, 8 dwg
