FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: heater is made from an inductor fastened on pipeline 1 (steel) and made in the form of at least three inductance coils 4, 5 and 6. First and second coils 4 and 5 respectively of the inductor are located in series on pipeline 1, third coil 6 embraces second coil 5 from the outside. The inductor is positioned in insulating shroud 2 fastened to pipeline 1 by clamps 7. Moreover, the inductor has a power supply device which, in turn, has power and control units 9, 10. The fluid is heated by heat released in pipeline 1, the heat occurs when Foucault currents are initiated in pipeline 1 due to a rapidly alternating current in inductance coils 4, 5, 6. The inductor (coils $, 5, 6) is controlled by an electric structural circuit enclosed in body 8. EFFECT: improved life cycle, electrical safety and reduced electric power consumption. 6 cl, 3 dwg
