FIELD: architectural acoustics. SUBSTANCE: method of exposure to sound of indoor and outdoor spaces consists in extraction of spectral components of electric signal corresponding to different frequency bands, in conversion of electric signals into sound ones with the aid of heads of loudspeakers connected in pairs and in phase with provision for coherence of sound waves which are positioned in parallel and coaxially in opposition to each other with front panels at different distances in agreement with different frequency bands. Distances are so selected that frequency characteristic is uniform within bounds of each band of frequencies in direction perpendicular to axes along which pairs of heads of loudspeakers are mounted. Parallelism of front panels of heads of loudspeakers is kept with accuracy ± (0.1 15) in vertical and horizontal planes. Relationships of maximum characteristic size D of front panel of head of loudspeaker and distance between front panels of pair of heads of loudspeakers to coaxiality F of setting of loudspeakers are chosen accordingly equal to D/F = ± (10-500) and S/F = ± (50-1500). EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of method. 6 dwg
