FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical acoustics and may be used where high quality of sound reproduction is required, e.g. halls and studio insonification. Acoustic system consists of a housing, dynamic head of loudspeaker, fixing elements and phase-inverting hole. In section, the wooden housing is oval-shaped and stretched along vertical symmetry axis of the item. One round opening is made at the opposite sides with their centres being on horizontal symmetry axis. One of the openings is closed tightly by resonating wooden end wall. The dynamic head diaphragm in loudspeaker is in the second hole of the housing. The perimeter of the above housing forms phase-inverting hole together with the above hole edges. The width of phase-inverting hole allows for creating maximum value of coherent wave, whereas the resonating end wall is in the form of segment, which is bent so that to ensure precise angle for maximum sound wave reflection. The end wall thickness is less than the housing thickness ensuring end wall vibration.
EFFECT: reduction of non-linear distortion factor, improvement of amplitude-frequency characteristics uniformity and improvement of sound pressure.
