FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: during liquor sorption in closed regime of constant cycle, lumbar puncture is followed by ultraviolet irradiation during 20 - 30 min, then liquor sorption is carried out. Liquor oxygenation is performed before reinfusing. Combination of ultraviolet irradiation and oxygenation of liquor produces more effective restoration of neurologic symptoms due to increased oxidation processes, accelerated transition of hemoglobin to bilirubin, and to increased assimilation of hemoglobin decay products. The patient's neurologic symptomatology is restored more rapidly owing to the purification of liquor from the fraction of blood. EFFECT: improved restoration of central nervous system functions.
