FIELD: medicine; neurology. SUBSTANCE: spinal fluid is subjected to spectrophotometry at two wavelengths. One wavelength belongs to absorption band, and the other one is outside the band. Relation of the values achieved is calculated and the sorbent is chosen in such a manner that sorption capacitance of the sorbent is inversely proportional to value of relation determined. Spinal fluid is sorbitized in closed cycle mode. During this closed cycle the density of spinal fluid is repeatedly measured in absorption band and sorption coefficient is calculated as relation of spinal fluid density during process of sorption to its density prior to sorption. Sorption should be continued or finished or the sorbent should be replaced depending on values of the coefficient. EFFECT: recovery of functions of central nervous system; monotonous contact-free control. 2 tbl, 5 dwg
