Additional hard-alloy insert for subsequent loosening of rock mass is of prismatic shape and wedge-shaped front and rear surfaces. Working head rear face has socket to receive additional hard-alloy insert. Main cutting edge of additional insert is located in working section of plane of main hard-alloy insert and displaced upward relative to main cutting edge of main hard-alloy insert.
