FIELD: optic instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: afocal slotless spectrograph has a plane-concave negative lens for converting a convergent beam of telescope into a parallel one, diffraction grating, plane-convex lens, photoelectric analyzer, recording unit. The spectrograph furthermore is provided with a second transparent phase grating the use of which reduces the cost of a set of spectral devices required for observing variable-brightness objects and simplifies the construction of a spectral assembly.
