FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: before phototherapy is carried out patient's blood is sampled and divided in two portions. The former is irradiated at dose 102-104 J/m2. Then both portions are incubated within 1 h in darkness and centrifuged. Plasma is separated of cellular elements then dilution by physiologic solution to volume ratio 1:40 is carried out. Photometry is carried out at wavelength 370 and 410 nm and coefficient of extinction Ce is calculated. If Ce=1 then reaction to irradiation absents and treatment is stopped. If Ce<1 then treatment is continued to obtain positive effect. If Ce>1 then postirradiation exacerbation of the process is expected. Proposed method enables to control photoaffection due to individual features of patients having various diseases and various types of irradiation. EFFECT: improves efficiency of the method.
