FIELD: gas-blast circuit breakers. SUBSTANCE: gas-blast circuit breaker has isolating nozzle for blasting quench gas in the direction of arc, which is formed between movable and motionless contacts. Nozzle has neck section, into which one contact may move and leave, and spreading section, disposed down the stream from the neck. Inclined plane is formed onto spreading section of the nozzle for increasing intensity of reflectivity of arc energy. The nozzle is made of fluoroplastic material; boron nitride powder is added as a filler in amount of no more than 15 volume percents. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation. 2 cl, 3 cl, 6 dwg
