FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: three-phase common gas switch of reservoir type has cylindrical grounded reservoir filled with insulating gas where three sets of interrupters for three phases of electric network are mounted. Each set of interrupters incorporates interrupter having immobile and mobile contacts, capacitor and shunting resistor connected in parallel. Interrupters circumference of reservoir and have geometrical axes passing axially inside reservoir. Shunting resistor of each phase is located on one side of interrupter adjacent to next interrupter of another phase. Capacitor of each phase is placed on inner or outer side of interrupter. EFFECT: diminished radial and axial dimensions of grounded reservoir. 9 cl, 5 dwg
