FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is composed of two parts, that is, central spacers made adjustable in length and safety harness. Central distance piece is case-type housing 1 having opening in its central portion, which can be blanked off by shutter 2, with housing belts 3 inserted into through longitudinal openings to secure spacer to waist strap, together with shoulder straps 5 and fasteners 6. Positioned on housing end surfaces are extendible under-knee devices 7 which can be fixed at desired length by means of bolt 8 and wing nut 9 into whose through longitudinal openings are inserted popliteal straps 10 having soft pads and fasteners. EFFECT: greater moveability of hip joints, easiness of adjusting length of splint (spacer) and coverage of femurs. 6 dwg
