FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to children's orthopedics. Functional brace for treatment of congenital hip displacement contains two abduction arcs with bushings, made telescopic, connected to each other with possibility of dosed abduction and fixation of abduction degree, and fixation elements in form of rings. Each of arcs is an extension of telescopic rod made in form of hexahedron and installed in tubular cylindrical case with possibility of rotation around its own axis and fixation with a screw in selected position. Possibility of dosed abduction and fixation of abduction degree is provided by gear device, formed by two cylindrical plates, on whose opposing surfaces, on external edge, radially directed unilaterally slanted teeth are made. Plates are immovably fixed on opposing surfaces of flat loops, located on adjacent ends of tubular cases, loops with plates being installed on the axis with threaded end for nut, with possibility of axial movement or rotation, between nut and plates spring is placed.
EFFECT: device ensures atraumatic reposition of congenital hip dislocation via posterior-lower edge of acetabulum and preservation of hip heads in reset state at any stage of treatment.
