FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: in children 5% mint infusion is administered, from 3 to 4 g per kg body weight twice a week, 30 min before meals during a month. At the same time the oral cavity is daily gargled with the 5% infusion of the Mentha piperita L. after breakfast and support. The prophylactic course is repeated 6 or 7 times with a six month interval. This invention decreases the intensity and spread of dental caries in children.
