SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to dentistry/pediatric dentistry and microbiology/bacteriology, and can be used for non-specific prophylaxis and enter a complex treatment of milk tooth caries by impact on cariogenic S. mutans in the tongue microbiome and dental plaque of the lingual surface of teeth in young children. Method includes conducting a dental examination of children and diagnosing the contamination by S. mutans bacteria of the lingual surface of the milk teeth of the lower jaw and the mucosa of the middle third of the tongue, use of colloidal silver applications in the form of a gel with a concentration of silver Ag+ nanoparticles 30 ppm. Application of the gel is carried out in the most abundant biotopes of S. mutans – on the lingual surfaces of the teeth of the lower jaw and on the mucosa of the middle third of the back of the tongue. During the three-month basic course, the application is carried out 2 times a day in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before going to bed for 7 days, the next 7 days break, the three-month maintenance course includes the application once a day before going to bed for 14 days, the next 14 days break. In this case, before carrying out the treatment of biotopes with a gel with Ag+ nanoparticles pre-hygienic cleaning of teeth, give the child 30.0–50.0 ml of clean water.
EFFECT: invention ensures the harmlessness of the use, the possibility of indirect non-specific treatment and prevention of dental caries, and the impact of Streptococcus mutans in the sites of donation by using colloidal silver.
