SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, dentistry, microbiology. Used to prevent dental caries in young children. Achieved by the implementation of the main and additional programs of prevention. Main program includes counseling and educational work with parents. Additional program uses gel applications with colloidal silver Ag + 30 ppm according to the scheme for 6 months in the S. mutans source biotopes on the lingual surfaces of the lower jaw teeth and the back of the tongue mucosa 1–2 times a day on an empty stomach. Use natural non-carbonated mineralized oxygen water 2 times a day. Use freshly squeezed carrot juice, or carrot puree, or ready-made carrot puree "FrutoNyanya" 2 times a day. Apply dental floss. Water “Wave of Baikal” with a neutral pH and bioavailable ions of calcium, magnesium and silver in the morning on an empty stomach 20–30 minutes before meals and in the evening before going to bed according to the scheme before applying the gel with colloidal silver is used, at one time for children from 6 to 12 months – 20–30 ml each, from 1 to 2 years old – 30–40 ml each, from 2 to 3 years old – 40–50 ml each or for individual needs. Basic course includes the use of carrot juice / puree for 7 days, 7 days break, just 3 months, alternating: 7 days natural water and colloidal silver, 7 days natural water and carrot juice / puree; supporting course of 3 months, drinking carrot juice / puree 1 time a day until 18.00, water 2 times a day, colloidal silver 1 time before going to bed 14 days, and 14 days break, dental floss is used waxed, bulky, once or twice a day before going to bed or after each meal, if it is possible.

EFFECT: method provides for the management of factors: cariogenicity of dental plaque, the titer of cariogenic bacteria Streptococcus mutans, the cleansing properties of saliva, histadragous and coadhesive ability of the oral microbiome, dehydration of the oral tissues, stimulation of specific immunity.
