FIELD: pipe production. SUBSTANCE: method of producing pipe-covers of reclaimed tyres lies in the fact that before the tyre joining their internal spaces are filled with dispersed elastic-damping material with a binder. The side walls of the tyres from the outer side are covered with sizing agent. The block formed of tyres is charged in the axial direction till obtaining the compressive strain exceeding its desired operating values. After that the charge is lowered till the zero value, the block of tyres is charged again till obtaining the desired length of the pipe-cover. The latter is fixed in the axial direction by means of axial tightening members. In order to obtain additional stability the pipe-cover cross-section is given an oval or ellipsoidal shape. For this purpose after the pipe-cover is fixed in the axial direction it is charged in the radial one till its cross-section is given an ellipsoidal shape with the surpassing of the desired correlation of the ellipse axles. The charge is lowered till the zero value. The pipe-cover is charged again in the radial direction till the desired cross-section shape is obtained, and cross-sectional tightening members are set along the outer surface contour.
