FIELD: rigid pipes. SUBSTANCE: tyres of similar standard size are taken. Then cordless layer of tread and rubber are removed. Then surfaces are made rough on outer side of both side members and inside toroid. Surfaces being coupled are coated with layers of adhesive sealant till cylindrical unit is formed which is first smoothly compressed axially till clearances are taken up, after which they are smoothly unloaded to zero load at complete taking up of clearances. Then pipe is again subjected to smooth axial compression till required length has been obtained; the pipe is fixed with axial coupling member. Pipe of round section which is compressed axially is smoothly compressed radially till elliptic section has been obtained. Then radial compressive load is smoothly reduced to zero at taking up the clearances and is again smoothly increased till required lengths of axes of pipe elliptical section have been obtained; radial compression is fixed by contour couplers. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
