FIELD: geophysics. SUBSTANCE: two components of magnetic induction vector are compensated in three points which do not belong to the same line. The third component of magnetic induction vector is measured according to signals of module magnetometer. Two other components of magnetic induction vector are measured in the same points analogically. According to results of measurement the components of magnetic induction vector and components of magnetic induction gradient tensor are determined. Device has three module magnetometers, disposed in three-component compensation rings, unit for compensation of magnetic induction components, commutation unit, computational unit and synchronization unit.
