FIELD: measuring engineering.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is related to measurement of the magnetic field induction by means of three-component magnetometers, having increased accuracy. It is achieved with using the additional measurement of the nonorthogonality of the axes of a reference standard. The obtained results are used for formation of the matrix estimations in the proper orthogonal coordinate system of the standard. Then a calibrated three-component magnetometer is installed in the standard center and magnetic field parameters are imitated in turn at positive and negative polarity along every axis of the standard. During the process the corresponding measurement results are detected at the output of the magnetometer and are determined the normalized values of an unknown instrument matrix.

EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy.
