FIELD: measurement engineering.

SUBSTANCE: the magnetometer is placed in a three-component standard of magnetic induction, and the standard axes are determined in the natural orthogonal systems of co-ordinates of the standard and magnetometer. The matrix of co-ordinate transformation between them is determined. Then the standard field is balanced by the field of the magnetometer windings under test. The dynamic characteristics of the three-component magnetometer windings in the natural orthogonal system of magnetometer co-ordinates are determined with the aid of the balancing results.
