FIELD: electron accelerator. SUBSTANCE: undulator a has magnetic units forming lateral quasi-periodic magnetic field along symmetry axis of undulator. Length din of magnetic unit at input of undulator and length dout of magnetic unit at outlet of undulator are chosen from conditions specified in description of invention. . Lengths of other magnetic units alter in agreement with linear law of decrease from din to dout. EFFECT: increased density of emission on specified length of wave within working spectrum of synchrotron radiation. 2 dwg
