FIELD: acceleration engineering and beam technology; radiation engineering including decomposition of industrial gaseous wastes, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc. SUBSTANCE: device has chemical reactor with pipeline, gas and vapor admission system, and direct-action diode-type electron accelerator. Introduced in vacuum chamber of electron accelerator is accelerating voltage source whose output electrode carries autoemission cathode made of carbon fiber material with filler that functions as carbon fiber fixing agent. Anode and cathode of cathode-type electron source have transverse dimensions comparable with effective field of electron beam brought out of accelerator. Accelerator is also provided with additional foil for bringing out the beam and foil anode displacement control unit that functions to externally control its displacement along electron source axis. Introduced in chemical reactor are gas disintegration monitoring sensors coupled with voltage regulator of accelerating voltage source and with external anode displacement unit. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 1 dwg
