FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: shredder comprises working chamber with cutting members 2 on its internal surface, and shaft 3 disposed coaxially with chamber. Upper part of shaft 3 carries two tiers of cutters 4 and 5 while lower part has two support discs 6 and 7 with carrying members 8 in between. Said members 8 have horizontal slots for cutters 9. Plates 11 secured on internal surface of chamber 1 in working zone of cutters 4 between axles of cutting members 2 are shaped like a wedge directed against rotation of shaft 3. Blade chamfers of cutters 4 are directed towards support discs 6 and 7 while wedge-shaped plates are secured level with additional cutters 4 and between the axles of cutting members 2. EFFECT: lower power requirement for shredding process, higher efficiency and reliability along with wider operating capabilities. 2 dwg
