FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: harvester has rotor with knives, cylindrical screw with shear ring, and thrower with feed line. Screw is positioned in axially aligned relation with respect to thrower and held in said position by means of bearing support located in shaft. Thrower has blades and flat knives attached to blades. Shear ring has discharge windows and outer race. Supporting rollers are symmetrically arranged on thrower casing. Screw shear ring race is fixed against radial displacements by supporting rollers. Screw with shear ring rotates in opposite direction with respect to direction of rotation of thrower to allow stalk plant mass grinding extent to be increased.
