FIELD: oil-and-fat industry. SUBSTANCE: during wet-heat processing of vegetable pulp the latter is moistened by aqueous solution of electrolyte with pH = 1-2 while oil cake is moistened with aqueous solution of electrolyte, pH = 11-12. Electrolyte with pH = 1-2 is HCl while that with pH = 11-12 is NaOH. EFFECT: higher yield of oil, intensified process, improved quality of press oil, better hydratability and reduced acid number of extraction oil. 3 cl, 1 tbl
