FIELD: manufacturing transformer cores. SUBSTANCE: isotropic electrical-sheet steel is obtained in the form of thin-sheet workpiece by hardening from melt and using two rolls. The hot thin-sheet material is rolled into coil to be then cooled in the air. Then the sheet is cold-rolled followed by high-temperature firing in vacuum. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the method.
