FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of melting in an electric furnace steel, having next content (mass): silicium 2.98, carbon ~ 0,036 0.036, aluminium 0.03, nitrogen 0.01, copper 0.5; hot rolling a billet for making a strip with thickness 2.5 mm; etching it; cold rolling up to the thickness 0.75 mm, performing decarbonization annealing at 850 C in nitrogen-hydrogen medium, secondary cold rolling up to the thickness 0.3-0.35 mm; local heating of zones of the strip till 700-1200 C with ratio of initial zones to zones, being heated, equal to 2-12; cold rolling with reduction value, equal to (0.5-12)% applying as insulation coating and performing high-temperature annealing at 1150 C. EFFECT: lowered losses for remagnetization and decreased magnetostruction oscillations. 1 cl, 2 tbl
