FIELD: burning of carbonate raw materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes crushing of raw materials, their fractionation and heat treatment in three stages: heating up to 440-450 C at rate of 58-60 C/min; heating up to 650-700 C at rate of 28-33 C/min, and heating up to 950-1000 C at rate of 38-43 C/min, with subsequent holding for 7-8 min. Burning device has annular furnace consisting of row of burning chambers with discharge gas channels and sluice gates. Electric heaters are installed parallel to rotating hearth. Chamber arches are screened by polished coating from high alloy steels. Coating of chamber arches is made in form of corona-forming electrode, and surface of rotating hearth, in form of receiving electrode. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
