METHOD FOR CONTROL OF PART SURFACE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2020403 C1

FIELD: control of part profiles operated under zero-gravity conditions. SUBSTANCE: method consists in determination of forces causing displacement of surface in control points equal to its displacements under action of gravity forces when part is turned through 180 deg. For this purpose values δo are determined as difference of coordinates of surface in initial position and in position after turning of part through 180 deg. Applied to part located in initial position is force F1 shifting the part from position 1 to position 3 and measured are coordinates of surface in check points in positions 1 and 3 determined are values of displacements δ1. Part is turned through 180 deg. and force F2 is applied to shift surface from position 2 to position 4. Coordinates are measured in check points before and after application of forces and displacement values δ2 are determined. Sum of values δ12 are compared with values δo. Values of forces F1 and F2 are verified so as to increase sum of F1+F2 if δ12o or to decrease if δ12o. Coordinates of surface in check points are measured again, verified values of values δ12 are compared with values δo and verification is repeated of values F1 and F2 until equality δ12o is attained for all check points. In this case, forces equalling value of F1+F2 ensure displacement of surface in check points equalling displacements δo under action of gravity. Values of forces ensuring zero gravity are taken equal to one half of forces F=F1+F2/2. Forces F ensuring zero gravity are applied to part. In so doing surface shifts from position 1 to position 5. Coordinates of surface in check points are measured. EFFECT: 2-10 time increase of accuracy of determination of actual shape of surface of part under zero gravity. 5 dwg, 2 tbl
