FIELD: vacuum circuit breakers, operating mechanisms and their control circuits. SUBSTANCE: each module of circuit breaker has its own operating mechanism. Operation of circuit breaker assumes only axial travel of parts of electromagnetic operating mechanism furnished with magnetic latch, and transmitting links. Impact axial action at opening provides reliable breaking of baked contacts. Ferreed hermetically sealed interlocking contacts operate without mechanical transmitting members. One coil of operating mechanism provides closing and opening. Suppression of closing current at end of closing process is implemented by charge of capacitor whose energy is then used for opening. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 5 dwg
