FIELD: electrical engineering, switching of power networks. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic drive includes switching-on electromagnet which pusher is mounted for interaction with roller of link mechanism and switching-off electromagnet. Windings of electromagnets are connected to power supply source through keys. Key of switching-on electromagnet is semiconductor fully controllable key, cut-off lead of key is linked to one of leads-out of switching-off unit, the other lead of it is connected to commutator of switching-off electromagnet. Link mechanism is four-bar linkage which cut-off links are set in dead center while switch is on and their further movement is limited by adjustable rest. Another variant of electromagnetic drive has switching-on electromagnet which pusher is mounted for interaction with roller of link mechanism and switching-off electromagnet which roller is mounted for interaction with cut-off latch. Winding of switching-on electromagnet is connected via key to power supply source and winding of switching-off electromagnet is connected to instrument current transformer. Key of switching-on electromagnet is semiconductor fully controllable key whose cut-off lead is connected to lead-out of switching-off unit. Link mechanism is four-bar linkage which cut-off links stop short of dead center while switched on and their further movement is limited by adjustable rest.
