FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: tonometer has compression cuff, pressure transducer, pulse wave detector, pressure source, indication and registration unit, additional acoustic transducer, band-pass filter, linear rectifier, voltage-to-frequency converter, counters, digital-to-analog converters, measurement timers, pulse pressure sources. Compression cuff, into which acoustic detector and pulse wave detector are disposed, is put onto hand of patient before start moment of measurements. Tonometer specifies preset pressure in the cuff in automatic mode and measures and indicates systolic, diastolic pressure and pulse. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement; reduced time of measurement; improved comfort. 2 dwg
