SUBSTANCE: attachment to an automatic blood pressure monitor for measuring the arterial blood pressure constitutes a body with a touch-screen display for input and output of information and with connecting elements secured on the body, such as 220 V input and output connectors, a power on/off button of the internal electrical circuit of the attachment and the electrical circuit of the 220 V output used to power the monitor, USB and HDMI outputs for connecting an external screen, and an Ethernet connector for connection to a computer network. The body contains a power supply unit with a 5 V output for powering the microcomputer and a 12 V output for powering the display, a control microcomputer, a control board for the built-in display, a power converter board for the built-in display, a photo and video camera module, a temperature sensor for measuring the body temperature of the user, a sound speaker, and a bar code and QR code reader. The body is made in the form of a plastic casing. A touch screen is placed on the front of the body, and fasteners for attaching to the blood pressure monitor are placed on the back and the bottom. The touch screen entirely covers the front side of the body less the edge of the body.

EFFECT: development of a compact, mobile appliance for measuring the arterial blood pressure, easily connected to mass-produced automatic blood pressure monitors.
