FIELD: metal pressure shaping. SUBSTANCE: device for cutting moving rolled sections has power driven carriage. The carriage carries body with cam-shaped projection and turning mechanism. The body houses main and auxiliary shafts with pinions installed on them. Auxiliary shaft passes through body rotation mechanism, and cutting tool is installed on main shaft. Section clamping mechanism is in the form of swinging spring-loaded lever mounted on carriage and provided with movable clamping jaws. Fixed clamping jaws are mounted on frame. The lever carries roller engageable with cam-shaped projection of body. Length measuring unit is in the form of spring-loaded roller and is positioned together with metering transducer on carriage movement drive. EFFECT: enhanced operating capabilities. 3 dwg
