FIELD: cutting of fibres. SUBSTANCE: scissors has cutting head with pivotally connected fixed and movable knives with curvilinear cutting edges, movable motion drive connected to the knife by worm gearing, and mechanism of adjustment of clamping knives. Movable knife is provided with link connected to pinion of worm gear by means of slide block and pin which is fastened in one of the holes in the pinion. Holes in the pinion for receiving the pin are eccentrically positioned at different intercenter distances from axis of rotation of the pinion. Knives have detachable blades.
