FACING SLAB MANUFACTURING PROCESS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: building industry. SUBSTANCE: gel-forming composition is prepared by mixing gelatin preliminarily kept in water in the amount of 100 to 200 per cent with 100 to 150 per cent of glycerine. The mixture is allowed to stay for 10 to 15 h. Then it is heated and mixed with cup grease in the amount of 10 to 20 per cent of the above-indicated gelatin. The obtained composition is poured into a form, with fillers placed on it till they are immersed, and left to cool down to the room temperature. This done, the fillers are removed, a polymer-concrete mixture is poured on the relief layer of the gel, and a layer of the fillers is applied and rammed slightly. After the mixture is hardened, and the forms are taken away the layer of the gel is removed by tearing it off the slab. The fillers are removed by pouring the polymer-concrete mixture on them, hardening and separation of the obtained polymer-concrete slab with the fillers. The layer of the gel may be used many times.
