FIELD: manufacture of high-temperature superconductors. SUBSTANCE: essence of this process resides in admixing powdery compounds containing calcium, copper and barium, synthesizing and comminuting these compounds, and then introducing into comminuted cake prescribed amounts of thallium oxide, ammonium nitrate and metal fluoride to be taken in amount of 0.3 to 0.6 mol per 1 mol of thallium characterized by lower formation enthalpy as compared with barium fluoride. This process prescribes taking barium-containing compound in stoichiometric amount equivalent to that metal fluoride. EFFECT: smaller superconductor temperature range. 2 dwg
