FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: surface is heated by means of device 1, and heating zones 2 are evacuated simultaneously. Then without removing the vacuum, immediately after heating, emulsion composition 3 is sprayed on the surface. The emulsion composition is introduced into the material surface pores and micropores 4 being free of moisture and air. This done, also without removing the vacuum, the surface is allowed to cool to 35-50 C, and the material is set free for use in the production process. The device has separate mechanisms and units: vacuum plant, sealing casing, heating assembly, and sprayer with a smoothing-out mechanism. The combination of the above- indicated features is original and new to the given type of the process. EFFECT: enhanced protection of materials against the environmental effects. 2 cl, 2 dwg
