FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: product - a mixture of 2,4- and 2,6-dinitroethylbenzenes, b. p. is 59-60 C at P = 3.99 kPa, yield is up to 99.4% . Reagent 1: 2-nitroethylbenzene. Reagent 2: nitrating mixture of the composition, wt. -%: nitric acid 7-13; sulfuric acid 75-96, and water 0-10. Reaction conditions: at mass ratio reagent 1:reagent 2 = 1:(3-10), at 25-160 C for 5-120 min. Synthesized mixture is used as semiproduct for synthesis of dyes, bioactive compounds, etc. EFFECT: improved method of mixture synthesis. 2 tbl
